, hey guys ive been playing SF3 for a couple of days now and have set up a little mob farm to get me started. (picture below) i left my game for about 10 minutes and nothing had spawned, the farm is 3 blocks tall and the light level is low enough for mobs to spawn at anytime (red crosses on blocks) i have typed the command /gamerule doMobSpawning true and that didnt change anything. , Those blocks do not stop individual mobs from spawning, but they DO prevent mob packs from spawning, which is the first step in spawning mobs.   • Jan 05, 2015 · Mobs are spawning but the issue right now is that no one can see them me and @shalevg864 we where in is island and mods where actually spawning but in a sec invisible creeper spawn zombies and skeleton and for a sec there where 2 visible creeper i don't know if any one is also aware of this but players are starting to get kill by invisible things or can't progress

However, simply going to the /mods folder and removing the BouncyCreepers-0.0.4.jar file will permanently break all natural hostile mob spawning when in-game afterwards.
